2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only as necessary to provide, operate, and secure our website and community features. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract performance / pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional online service).

The server and database are hosted in data centers of Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin (Germany).

3. Data Collected

a) Access Data (Server Logs)

Each time you access the website, the following data is automatically collected:

IP address of the accessing device (stored anonymized)
Date and time of access
Requested file or page
Browser type and version
Operating system
Referrer URL

This data is used solely for technical provision, system security, and error analysis. No personal evaluation takes place.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in stability and security).

b) Registration & Login via Discord

We use “Login with Discord” (OAuth 2.0), provided by Discord Inc., 444 De Haro Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

After consent, Discord transmits the following data to us:

User ID
Username and tag (e.g., “User#1234”)
Avatar image
Language setting (if available)

This data is stored locally in our database to uniquely assign accounts within our system. We do not store passwords or gain access to private Discord messages or friends lists.

c) Own Content (Teams, Tournaments, Orgs, Scrims)

When creating or managing content (e.g. team names, banners, org profiles, tournaments, scrims), the data you provide is processed and stored. Uploads (images/banners) are stored locally on our server.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

d) Cookies

Our website uses cookies necessary for technical operation (session ID, language settings, cookie consent). These are deleted after the session or after 30 days.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (functionality of the website).
A consent banner appears upon first visit with selection options.

e) Contact

When contacting us via email, the transmitted data is used solely to handle your request. No data is shared with third parties.

4. Recipients of Data

Strato AG (hosting provider): storage of server and database data.
Discord Inc. (OAuth login): authentication during login process.

No further transfer to third parties, no use of Google services, Cloudflare, Meta, tracking or analytics tools.

5. Storage Duration

Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage ceases or statutory retention periods expire. Users may delete their account at any time – all associated data will be removed immediately unless legal retention obligations apply.

6. Data Security

All connections use HTTPS (SSL encryption).
Server location: Germany.
Access protection via role-based permissions, password protection, up-to-date PHP version, HSTS, CSP, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy. Upload directories are protected against script execution.
